The National Multicultural Festival is on again in February. A weekend of great food and music in the heart of Canberra that cannot be missed. For Menslink it is also a major fundraiser and we’d love our supporters to come along, whether it’s to help with our fundraising, to talk to people who visit our stall, or to just enjoy the festival and come and say hello! Our stall will be next to ActewAGL’s, which is perfect for two reasons: 1.They are our principal sponsor and 2. they will have a misting tent to cool us all down!
We are hoping to have about 90 people walking around the festival handing out wristbands, information cards and asking for donations. We will provide you with the bucket, the handouts, a very attractive T Shirt and a healthy dose of feeling good about helping Menslink.
The festival is on Friday night February 13th and Saturday 14th, with volunteer shifts from 6-9pm on Friday night then Saturday 12-3 or 6-9pm. If you’d like to sign up as a volunteer, send an email to volunteers@menslink.org.au
