The Menslink Board presented our 2012-13 Annual Report to members at our AGM held at the Southern Cross Club on November 19th.
Highlights for the financial year included :
- Large increases to both mentoring and counselling programs throughout the year, supporting more young men than ever before;
- Our Silence is Deadly campaign in schools, reaching around five thousand male secondary school students with the important message of speaking up and getting help for life’s hassles;
- An overhaul to our policy and procedure framework, which was subsequently audited by the ACT Government with an unqualified “pass”;
- More public awareness of the important work we do in the community; and
- Major improvements to our office environment
