Mark Wadie

Mark has found his home at Menslink, following a lifelong passion of supporting boys and men to navigate their journey to manhood.

Mark brings a diverse expertise in developing and facilitating national gender violence prevention, mental health and leadership programs. In addition Mark has spent the last couple of decades coachingĀ and mentoring men while also being involved in numerous Rite of Passage programs which inspired him to publish his first book, How a Boy Becomes a Man – Planning a Rite of Passage to Manhood.

In his role, Mark leads an innovative and collaborative team that continues to engage and connect boys through various experiential and transformative programs within schools in the Canberra community.

Mark was born in Canberra and enjoys time with his children Mikayla and Mitchell mountain biking, skiing, playing the guitar, camping and hitting the surf when they can.
