Craig Allen is a journalist, who has worked in and around the media industry since 1988. Beginning his career in regional Queensland, Craig returned to his hometown of Canberra in 1996, and spent three years working as a government media advisor.

Since 2002 he has been a regular in Canberra loungerooms, as presenter of ABC Canberra weekend news bulletins. He has also reported for ABC Radio Canberra, Stateline ACT, and 7.30.
