Dr. Albert Valadez joined the Menslink team as a Counsellor in February 2018. He has previously worked with children, families, traditional college-aged students and the elderly and is a great fit at Menslink to continue his work by supporting young men going through tough times.
Albert recently arrived in Australia from Texas USA where he worked as a Professor of Counselling at Texas A&M University in San Antonio, Texas. At A&M, he chaired the counselling department and supervised faculty and staff members. In addition, he has worked and supervised Master’s and Doctoral level Practicum and Internship students. He has taught a full range of courses in a university counselling program and has maintained an after-hours private practice. Albert is a Board member of the Canberra & Queanbeyan Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Deficiency Advocacy and Support Group.
His ultimate accomplishment is being a dad to his two sons. Adrian and Cameron.
