If you’re a young guy aged between 10 and 25 years old, and you’re dealing with stuff in life that you’re just not sure how to get through, Menslink can help.
Young blokes come to Menslink for all sorts of reasons, such as:
- Dealing with peer pressure
- Anxiety or depression
- Feeling angry and lashing out at people
- Tough situations like failing an exam, a relationship break up, losing a job
- Not having a dad in their life
Maybe you’re just unhappy and aren’t sure what to do. You feel overwhelmed by everyone else’s opinions and expectations, and you look at social media and think the whole world has it figured out but you.
Trust me, they don’t.
But trying to get through it by yourself, especially when you’re not sure how to tackle it, can be really hard. And that’s where Menslink comes in.
We’re a charity not because we think you need charity, but because we never want money to be the reason you can’t chat with someone about what’s going on.
If you think you could use a mentor – someone who has “been there, done that” and can support you with friendship and guidance, ask about our free Mentoring Program. If you just want to chat with someone one-on-one, who is trained to help you cope with all sorts of challenging situations in life, you could give our free counselling sessions a go.
What’s important is that you talk to someone. You may only need it for a short time, just to learn some skills that will help you cope now and feel more confident about dealing with other issues in the future. Especially if you’re facing something new, that you’ve never been through before. You can get advice from someone who’s “been there and done that”; someone you can trust with your confidential stuff.
That’s what Menslink does, and that’s how we can help you.
So if you’ve been sitting on the sidelines for a while, wondering where to go for support, give us a call. Our service is completely confidential and we will never judge you or try to make you do anything you don’t want to do.
You may even help pay it forward one day by becoming a Menslink Mentor yourself, and guiding another young guy who finds himself in a similar situation as you’re in right now.
