Jim has been on the Board since its inception, with over four years as Chair. He came to Menslink in 2001 following a couple of years volunteering as a tutor and mentor for young men incarcerated at the (former) Quamby Youth Detention Centre.
Recently retired, Jim spent close to forty years working for the Commonwealth government, mainly in human resources. He is married to Mabelle, has four adult children, eight grandchildren and a large extended family in Canberra.
